hardware & software products for Land based vehicles across all sectors.
You need excellent knowledge and experience of the Systems Design, Architecture &/ Software
behind Autonomous Vehicle technology - Tech Architect – Technical Expert - CTO
As well as expert technical knowledge, you will have an excellent understanding of the industry and market trends. You will need to be able to hand pick and build a team from the ground up and have excellent mix of skills including technical, communication and managerial. These groundbreaking new software & engineering design tools are being adopted by leading Tier 1 & OEMs for Full Automation in Automotive, Off Highway, Agriculture, Defence, Industry 4.0 & Smart Factories worldwide.
Role
Spec and Design of Full Systems, Architecture & Software for Autonomous Vehicle technology.
Collaborative and Cross Functional role working with systems design engineers, software developers, product developers, sales teams and clients/ end users.
Understand the technology, the product and be able to design the systems which underpin it.
Full product lifecycle from concept to design to production to after sales.
ID and understand client requirements and then help build a high tech autonomous solution for land based vehicles (across multiple sectors)
Be able to communicate effectively with clients, developers and engineers at all levels.
Understanding of the sector and what the market wants. Both now and in the future - future requirements, applications and next generation products.
New Product Introduction for Tier 1 & OEMs in land based vehicles across sectors – Full Automation.
Ensure engineering product integration, Hit targets and achieve growth in sales/ revenue.
Experience:
- Degree in Engineering, Maths, Science or IT, (ideally AI, Software, Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic or similar)
- Design of Software / Systems / Architecture for new high tech engineering products
- IT/ Software systems design for any of: Electronic systems, AI, Autonomous Vehicle Tech, CAV.
Advantage:
Experience working with driverless/ autonomous vehicles engineering / CAV
Knowledge of software / systems behind autonomous driving technology – eg algorithms, controls, electrical, sensors, Machine Learning, Machine vision, electronic, software, Object detection sensor, smart robot AI, ADAS, Driving Robots, Drive-by-wire, Blind spot detection, Self driving vehicle sensor validation with multiple vehicles and junctions.
CE & Regulatory experience
Please note: Essential to have relevant technical background in Systems Design, Architecture &/ Software . Plus NPD & NPI for high end design engineering – ideally in Autonomous Vehicle Tech.
