Senior/ Lead / Principal Engineer - Mechatronics/ Electromechanical / Robotics
Play a leading role in the Design new electromechanical robotics systems for Autonomous/ Driverless Vehicles.
Complete design and analysis of Mechatronic /electro-mechanical systems: Level 5 autonomous design, electromechanical system integration and control.
These groundbreaking new products are being adopted by leading OEMs globally in a range of sectors: Industrial Automation, Mechanical Handling, Off Highway and Agriculture.
Role
- Design, Develop and Test electro-mechanical, mechanical, electrical, electronic & mechatronic robots for Driverless Vehicles
- Full project schedule ownership from design, creation to delivery
- Working across many functions and with with clients and suppliers
- Full Development & New Product Engineering
Essential Experience Required
- BEng / Engineering – ideally Mechatronic or electromechanical. Or Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical or similar.
- Mechatronic Validation & Verification tests in tech environment
- Experience of Mechatronic / electromechanical engineering – ideally in Automotive /Robotics / Industrial Engineering or similar
Advantage:
- Robotics or Aerospace or Automotive or Industrial Automation design engineering background
- Design of Test rigs for Robotics
- FMEA / PFD
