Senior Process Engineer – Green Hydrogen

Industry: Renewables Energy & Storage/ Decarbonization / Decentralization/ Electrification 
Senior / Lead / Project Engineer Manager level position

NB: Please note it is essential to have Process Engineering experience & degree.

As Process Engineer for green hydrogen activities in the UK, you will lead on the technical aspects of process engineering consultancy.

Creating an efficient delivery structure for hydrogen projects - Working closely with clients and  other engineering functions to  help businesses, public sector organisations and government to embrace the energy transition towards net zero and help redesign the way we move, work and live.

Role

  • Lead Consultant for process engineering on all hydrogen projects
  • Development of the technical solutions on electrolysers, compressors, storage etc
  • Technology market awareness
  • Technical solution development (embedded generation, steam, utilities etc)
  • Consulting – client facing
  • Hydrogen safety best practice (HAZID, HAZOP, DSEAR etc.)
  • Developing systems/processes/approach for hydrogen
  • Ensuring projects are compliant with the relevant standards and regulations.

Essential

  • University degree in Chemical/ Process Engineering (or similar)
  • Process engineering delivery experience
  • Process safety experience

 

Advantage

  • Experience in a similar role (either corporate or consulting).
  • Understanding of the hydrogen sector preferred
  • Any experience from hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, chemicals, oil & gas or process sectors
